We are passionate in our support of Tear Fund.
We love their honesty, integrity, their love of the children they seek sponsorship for.They are a brilliant organization to deal with.We value their commitment and admire their marketing of many diverse and creative programmes to alleviate poverty in the world.
Most of all we can confirm having been to 2 child sponsored projects … Olinda (Brazil) and Bogata (Colombia) the money ALL THE MONEY that we send to our sponsored children is spent on the children themselves.

We were told that Quote “ Children had considered giving up because they had never received regular letters from their sponsors”.If only sponsors could understand the joy and the gratitude these children have at being given a chance in life.To us our visits were life changing experiences that touched our hearts deep , deep down.
In the Brazil project we visited 123 children were sponsored …48 needed sponsors.This is one of many projects. Not only in Brazil but in countries throughout the world.The budget was R4632 a month (US $2804 A MONTH) of which support came to at R4168 a month. (US$2522 A MONTH) that is to feed provide clothing , school material for some 171 children.
You do the maths …. it is amazing how so little can go so far!! All for a sponsors $1 a day!
In addition to 4 children being sponsored by New Zealanders, other nations active in sponsoring are the United States, Canada , Italy , Holland , Australia , South Korea and England.
We are heartened what is happening in the lives of these little children, giving them hope, education and a new beginning….but most of all to bring children to the knowledge and confession of Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
