My name is Lindsay Walker, I live in New Zealand, am in my late 50′s, married to Dalaine my wife of 8 years.My business background includes 30 years in the tourism industry, during which I have been so fortunate to have travelled to well over 100 different countries throughout the world. For 8 years of those years I owned a highly successful travel company and 3 years previous to that I set up a marketing company in New Zealand to represent the North American and Australian Coach giant Greyhound.
I returned from a business opportunity in Papua New Guinea to New Zealand after being involved in a major car accident and contracting malaria.That was really a turning point in my life, as I needed to find a new direction and meaning for my life.
I have always wanted to live my life according to my faith as a christian, acknowledging Jesus Christ as my Saviour.
My passion is to help people understand finance and in particular to be aware of how debt dependency can ruin lives.
My writing and publishing of my three books, came about from a deep concern that sound financial knowledge based on principles and truth were not available in an easy to understand format, especially to younger people of the ‘NOW” generation.
In these books you will find vital cornerstones and building blocks, not only on subjects such as banking and finance, but the truth in how to live well and do the right things in life. The knowledge is not based on conspiracy theories,but are practical, real information for people of all ages, worldwide. It is written in simple, easy-to-understand language. These books will teach some of the basic fundamentals and inform how the world has turned personal debt into a plague of gigantium proportions… Who started it and why?
Who’s missing out on this knowledge?
Sadly our children are not being taught a lot of what you read in these books, because their parents also missed out – our grandparents had to be survivors, much of what they learnt the hard way, therefore not a lot of practical knowledge transcended down to their offspring. Many people have been very forthcoming with praise of how my books have not only helped their children and their grandchildren, but as parents and Grandparents it has helped them too!
My responsibility as a writer
My only gain is the knowledge that many people are being helped to understand a lot of things they were never told before. My books have been widely acclaimed in over 16 countries of the world and are a quality publication with beautiful original photographs of spectacular New Zealand. I do not endorse or promote any products or companies, these books were self-funded and published.
What is a defining point is that the total sale price of these books goes to children to make a difference in their lives in 3rd world countries of the world.
